Six years, seven cities. Grad school, markets before sunrise, long office days, workouts squeezed into the gaps, flights, late nights, and the same thing again the next morning.

It wasn't only my routine. I saw the same pace in the people around me — my sister, a doctor working up to eighty hours a week in residency; my mom, a judge with a demanding schedule of her own; friends building careers and lives around whatever time was left. Different careers, different schedules, same reality: life rarely happens under perfect conditions, and skincare still has to fit somewhere inside it.

The idea began with concerns that kept arriving together: uneven tone, dehydration, environmental stress, and the need for barrier support — alongside routines that asked too much time from people who had very little to spare.

My background taught me to question assumptions, follow the evidence, and keep refining until every decision has a reason. That became the standard for Lunéveil: thoughtful concentrations, complementary pathways, and a texture made for daily use.
